Firm Highlights (Nov 2022)

New Hires

Abby Reich joined CDS as a Payroll Assistant in our Willmar office. Her focus areas are administrative tasks and the preparation of their payrolls, tax deposits, quarterly and year-end payroll reports, and W-2 forms.

Nicole Fernkes joined CDS as a Bookkeeper in our Willmar office. Prior to CDS, she worked in bookkeeping and customer service for over 10 years. Nicole is attending Rasmussen University online, working towards her Associates degree in Accounting. Her focus area is bookkeeping.

Dean Reznecheck joined CDS as a Business Advisory Consultant in our Willmar office. Prior to CDS, he worked in financial services with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll experience for over 20 years. Dean graduated with an Associates Degree from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN. His focus area is Business Advisory Services.

Becky Lang joined CDS as a Staff Auditor in our Willmar office. She brought over 12 years of private accounting and 7 years of public accounting experience. Becky graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science. Her focus areas are non-profit auditing, for profit auditing, and fire reliefs.

Promotions

Mitchell Erickson has been promoted to Manager. Mitchell joined CDS in 2016. He graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 2018, Mitchell was promoted to Senior Accountant. His focus areas are tax planning and preparation, multi-state tax, and franchise services.

Thomas Stoeckman has been promoted to Manager. He joined CDS in 2017. Thomas graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Master of Accountancy (MAcc), and a Minor in Agribusiness. In 2019, he was promoted to Senior Accountant. His focus areas are tax planning and preparation, and agribusiness.

Jordan Wrobleski has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She joined CDS in 2019. Prior to CDS, she worked in accounting for over two years. Jordan graduated from the University of MN-Crookston in Crookston, MN with her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Management. Her focus areas are bookkeeping, financial statements, QuickBooks®, outsourced accounting services, and tax preparation.

Mitch Gwost has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He joined CDS in 2019. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mitch’s focus areas are tax preparation, bookkeeping, and business advisory services.

Marisa Winters has been promoted to Senior Government Auditor. She joined CDS in 2018. She graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance. Her focus areas are governmental and non-profit auditing.

Andrea Wimmer has been promoted to Manager. She joined CDS in 2020. She brings several years public and private accounting experience to CDS. Andrea graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Her focus areas are accounting, bookkeeping, business advisory services, outsourced accounting services, QuickBooks®, tax preparation, and sales and use tax.

New Designations

Tabitha Weflen earned her QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation. She joined CDS in 2021. Prior to CDS she worked in client service for over 7 years. Tabitha is attending the University of Minnesota – Crookston in Crookston, MN majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Her focus areas are bookkeeping and QuickBooks®.

Jordan Wrobleski earned her QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation. She joined CDS in 2019. Prior to CDS, she worked in accounting for over two years. Lee Bowen earned her QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation. Lee joined to CDS in 2022. She brought over four years of accounting experience and fifteen years of client service experience to CDS. Lee received her Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN. Her focus areas are bookkeeping, QuickBooks®, and assisting clients with the preparation of their payrolls, tax deposits, quarterly and year-end payroll reports, and W-2 forms.
